Remy cut his first tooth yesterday! I was quite surprised because that’s very
early. They say 4 months is early and he’s
only 3 months and 1 week. But I guess he’s
going to be an early teether. Lucky for
me (said sarcastically). I just hope he
doesn’t bite me. ;)
I knew something was up because he’s been extra drooly
lately, has been waking up around 4 am to eat and has been a little more fussy
at night before bed. I checked his mouth
the other day and there was nothing. So
I figured he was going through a growth spurt.
I went to pick him up from daycare last night and his auntie (also his
daycare provider) found his tooth! Like I
said, I was surprised. I bed Remy will
be ready for solids before I am! I’ve
been thinking the last few days that I better get ready in case he starts
showing signs of wanting solids. Still
have to buy a food processor and such. I
won’t introduce solids until he’s at least 4 months old of course and I’ll
probably double check with his pediatrician at his 4 month check-up but I think
he’ll be ready around that time. I just
can’t get over how fast he’s growing up.
His 4 month check up is in just over 3 weeks. Soon enough he’ll be eating at the table with
us! Hmm… that means we better start
actually eating at the table, not on the couch.
Haha.
Just showing daddy my new tooth! Vader seems to like me these days. He’s trying to lick the drool off my face.
Finally in a happy mood now that my tooth is cut!
